Rebellion is gearing up to drop an exciting addition to the Zombie Army series—its very first VR game. Set to launch next month, this co-op campaign will be available on all major VR platforms.
Hitting the shelves on May 22nd, Zombie Army VR is coming to Quest 2 and newer, PSVR 2, and SteamVR headsets. Prepare to dive into the franchise’s signature zombie chaos as you join the ranks of the Deadhunters, an elite squad fighting to put an end to the apocalypse.
In this intense campaign, you’ll battle your way through undead hordes around the devastated backdrop of Nuremberg. Your mission? Team up with Captain Hermann Wolff, the legendary leader of the Deadhunters, on a quest to reunite his family and liberate Europe from the clutches of a zombie resurgence.

With a promise of a “full-length, story-driven campaign,” you can choose to tackle it alone or bring along a friend in two-player co-op mode. Fans can look forward to a genuine World War II-era arsenal, featuring everything from sniper rifles and submachine guns to pistols that can be dual-wielded and manually racked.
As you progress, you’ll have opportunities to earn XP to upgrade your Deadhunter and refine your weapons using Weapon Upgrade kits—enhancing things like range, accuracy, and capacity. But it’s not just standard Nazi zombies you’ll face; the game includes franchise favorites like Armored Giants, Suiciders, and Sniper Zombies. Plus, just like in Rebellion’s Sniper Elite VR (2021), the X-ray Kill Cam makes a return, giving players the thrill of seeing their long-range shots unfold in cinematic slow motion.
For those eager to get a jump on the action, Zombie Army VR is currently available for pre-order. You can find it on the Horizon Store for Quest 2 and above, the PlayStation Store for PSVR 2, and on Steam for PC VR headsets—it’s even sporting a special 10% discount off the usual $30 price tag.
