Canadian game developer Worlds Untold has made the difficult decision to temporarily pause its operations.
The studio took to LinkedIn to share that it’s actively looking for a new partner. Led by BioWare veteran Mac Walters, Worlds Untold made its first appearance in the gaming scene in November 2023 with the backing of Chinese gaming powerhouse NetEase. We’re reaching out to NetEase to understand the current status of this partnership.
“This wasn’t a decision we made lightly,” the company expressed on LinkedIn. “It’s been an incredibly personal journey, and we’re proud of everything our team has accomplished together.”
