Get ready for another exciting VR Games Showcase this March, promising what organizers describe as the most expansive lineup of XR games we’ve seen yet.
While specifics are a bit scarce at this point—especially concerning the exact date of the event—the organizers have hinted on social media that more information is coming soon.
Just like previous VR Games Showcases, we’re eagerly awaiting announcements on which studios will be involved. This will give us a better idea of the games to look forward to. We can certainly anticipate a strong focus on Quest games, alongside titles for PSVR 2 and PC VR.
Last year’s showcase brought a slew of game announcements and updates. Gamers were thrilled with gameplay reveals such as HITMAN III: Reloaded, Vertigo Games’ Arizona Sunshine Remake, Fast Travel Games’ Action Hero, and trailers for the survival game GRIM. Overall, announcements came from seven studios, featuring over 15 exciting titles.
Following that, the event also featured an ‘XR Indies and Friends’ showcase. This included new insights into Innerspace VR’s One True Path, gameplay from Cyborn’s mixed reality adventure Wall Town Wonders, a trailer for the VR version of Ovid Works’ Metamorphosis, and gameplay from Just Add Water’s arcade sim DIG VR.
As we approach March, keep an eye on the VR Games Showcase YouTube channel, where all the latest announcements and the livestream itself will be available. Stay tuned—it’s going to be worth the wait!
