The top contenders in this week’s Xbox gameplay chart have held their ground, but it seems more gamers are diving back into “Far Cry New Dawn” now that it’s been reintroduced to Game Pass. With a slew of major Game Pass additions on the horizon, we can likely expect some shake-ups in the top 40 soon.
“Sniper Elite: Resistance” is still performing admirably following its recent Game Pass debut, climbing up to seventh place. If you’re undecided about trying it out, Sean has given it a glowing review worth checking out. Meanwhile, “Halo Infinite” has seen a resurgence, jumping from 23rd to 17th after a new update.
Notably, “Far Cry New Dawn” has re-entered the top 40 in the 19th spot since making its Game Pass return last week. However, “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” continues its descent, dropping from 18th to 22nd. Despite being an impressive title, balancing multiple AAA games can be tricky with the upcoming Game Pass releases.
“Ninja Gaiden 2 Black” made quite a splash when it surprise-launched on Xbox, but has now slipped from 11th to 24th. Similarly, “Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap” has also seen a decline, settling at 31st.
This week’s chart also welcomes back “Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II” at 33rd and “No Man’s Sky” at 36th, both benefiting from recent major updates. On a less positive note, “Eternal Strands,” which launched as a day-one Game Pass title, has fallen significantly from 19th to 38th, with “Hell Let Loose” rounding things out at 40th.
Surprisingly, “Kingdom Come: Deliverance II” hasn’t cracked the top 40 yet, despite being a much-anticipated sequel. Its absence might be due to its hefty RPG nature and lack of Game Pass availability, leaving some players waiting for the right time to dive in.
