The team at Warpfrog isn’t resting on their laurels, though. They’re diving headfirst into their next project, promising fans it will be as “highly moddable” as their beloved physics-based action title.

While specifics are still under wraps, Warpfrog has hinted that this new VR game will unmistakably carry the essence of their signature style. After stretching their old framework to its limits during Blade & Sorcery’s extended period in early access, they are ready for a clean slate. “We’re shifting from old, tangled code to a fresh framework, made from the ground up for a new engine,” they explained. They are crafting this new setup to be incredibly efficient, with the exciting prospect of developing with a full team from start to finish—a first for the studio.

Given the studio’s growth from a solo endeavor, led by the talented developer known as ‘KospY’, to a robust team of nearly 30, expectations are high for what’s next on their agenda.
