Space Marine 2’s main campaign might be a quick ride, wrapping up in just a few hours, but Saber Interactive isn’t leaving players high and dry. They’ve been consistently rolling out updates, and on Thursday, they unveiled the third major patch. Say hello to Datavault, packed with a fresh chamber for the battle barge, heaps of new cosmetics, a cool PvP map, and the spine-chilling Tyranid Biovore.

In the game, you have two main ways to experience the action. You can step into the shoes of Commander Titus for the central storyline, or dive into side missions through Operations. These aren’t essential for completing the main campaign, but they do give a bit of backstory on how certain tactical military maneuvers unfolded. While waiting to jump into Operations or PvP mode, players can relax on the Ultramarine battle barge. The latest addition to this area is the Datavault, a spot where Tech-Priests log in data about the game’s various foes. Players tackle challenges to gather this data, which is then converted into valuable research currency. This can be used to snag some impressive power armor pieces and weapon skins.

The Datavault update doesn’t just stop there. Operations now feature the frightening Biovore. This Tyranid unit is quite a spectacle, featuring crab-like legs and a giant organic cannon strapped onto its armored back. For those who love PvP, there’s a brand-new map with a Necron tomb aesthetic.
