Rocksteady, the studio behind the ambitious Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, is wrapping up its development efforts for the game next month.
In a recent blog post, Rocksteady shared that after delivering Season 4 Episode 8 of post-launch content in January, no new updates will follow for this supervillain adventure. “This will be the concluding seasonal episode for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League,” Rocksteady stated.
Although this marks the end of new additions, Rocksteady reassures players that all online features will remain intact. You can still team up with friends for co-op play and dive into previous seasons and episodes. Plus, for those who prefer offline play, a new mode will let you tackle the main story and all post-launch content without needing an internet connection.
Since its release in January, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has faced mixed reviews and struggled with sales. Warner Bros, the game’s publisher, acknowledged that the title didn’t meet their expectations.
