Resolution Games, known for creating immersive experiences like Demeo (2021) and Racket Club (2023), is gearing up to release their latest venture, Home Sports. This new casual VR gaming collection is set to land exclusively on Quest 3 and Quest 3S.
Expected to hit the Horizon Store shelves next month, Home Sports brings together a delightful mix of five social sports: pickleball, mini golf, hockey, bowling, and badminton. If you’re getting a touch of Wii Sports nostalgia, you’re not alone!
Players can enjoy these games side by side locally, as long as both have either a Quest 3 or Quest 3S, or dive into online multiplayer for some spirited competition.
What’s standout about Home Sports is the adaptability of each sport to any play space. Whether your room is small or expansive, you’ll be able to engage in thrilling matches right there in virtual or mixed reality.
According to Tommy Palm, CEO of Resolution Games, “Mixed reality is opening up new dimensions in gaming, merging our real and digital experiences for unforgettable moments we can share together.” He goes on to comment that “Home Sports arrives at a perfect time, as families and friends come together during the holidays. It’s a fantastic way to bring everyone into the fun, regardless of skill level, and it’s equally welcoming for those new to VR.”
Home Sports will be available on December 11th for Quest 3 and Quest 3S, with a price tag of $19.99. If you’re interested, you can already add it to your wishlist on the Horizon Store.
