In a thrilling update for Marvel Rivals fans, the game is set to introduce new skins for two of its characters, Psylocke and Winter Soldier, come January 30. This update comes hot on the heels of the game’s latest content rollout, Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, which launched on January 10. This season sees Dracula taking on the role of the primary villain, challenging players as Doctor Strange and Blade find themselves ensnared in a cunning trap, leaving the Fantastic Four to step up and combat the notorious vampire and his formidable army.
The excitement doesn’t stop there. Currently, players can dive into Marvel Rivals’ Spring Festival event, offering fresh skins for Iron Fist, Black Widow, and Star-Lord. While players can buy the Black Widow and Iron Fist cosmetics from the store, the Star-Lord bundle is a freebie, obtainable by completing Fortune & Colors challenges. Additionally, players have the opportunity to collect Danqing, the event’s currency, by participating in the game’s main modes or by trying their hand at the brand new Clash of Dancing Lions mode in Marvel Rivals.
In a recent Twitter update, NetEase Games gave fans a sneak peek at the upcoming changes. Psylocke will be getting the Blood Kariudo costume, a striking ensemble featuring a crimson dress, a matching hat, pigtails, and a scroll fastened to her hip. This outfit was initially hinted at through a Gallery Card that players could unlock by completing Chapter 4 of the Midnight Feature quests, showing off Psylocke in mid-leap over other heroes, alongside the revamped Winter Soldier.
Speaking of the Winter Soldier, his new Blood Soldier look will reinvent the character’s usual appearance. This fresh style includes short white hair, forgoing the familiar facial mask, and showcasing a black coat with a scarlet vest underneath. Notably, Bucky’s iconic silver arm has been replaced with a lavish gold one adorned with intricate carvings and scarlet highlights.
But there’s more on the horizon for Marvel Rivals enthusiasts. NetEase Games is also preparing to unveil a new skin for Spider-Man, taking inspiration from Sony’s hit game Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. This new cosmetic, based on the Advanced Suit 2.0, is timed to align with the launch of Insomniac Games’ latest release on PC. As of now, there’s no official pricing announced for these skins or their bundles. Fans are buzzing with anticipation, eager to see what other surprises NetEase Games has in store.
