Now, about the current server situation: Path of Exile 2’s servers are back up after a brief hiccup on January 23. Although labeled as an “abnormal disconnection,” there’s a possibility you might still encounter a few connectivity issues. Initially, PoE 2 was swamped with players eager to join, which led to some congestion. However, things have settled down quite a bit. Occasionally, you might find yourself in a queue, but overall, the game is running smoothly.
Speaking of those launch day queues, the team had this to say: “For those still in line, we’re gradually letting players in to monitor the backend and avoid any overload. Thanks for bearing with us; hopefully, the wait won’t be too long.”
Server hiccups were somewhat expected when Path of Exile 2 launched.
