Savvy Games Group has just made an exciting addition to their team by bringing on board industry veteran Nika Nour as their Senior Vice President and head of international business development.
Announcing the move on LinkedIn, the company highlighted that Nour will be tasked with forming strategic partnerships across the globe. This move is a significant step in their plan to broaden their reach and influence.
Nika Nour has an impressive background, having previously held the role of head of partnerships at Genvid and serving as executive director at the IGDA Foundation. Her role will include attracting game studios and companies to Saudi Arabia, fostering the Kingdom’s position as a burgeoning games hub.
In their announcement, Savvy underscored Nour’s advisory role, which extends to guiding mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments to fuel the growth of Savvy’s ecosystem.
Nika Nour herself expressed her enthusiasm for this new role, stating, “I am thrilled to lead the charge in forming strategic international alliances, drawing game studios and businesses to the Kingdom, and helping elevate its status as a global gaming center. I am grateful to CEO Brian Ward for this opportunity to be part of Savvy’s leadership team. I look forward to moving to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and embarking on this exciting new journey.”
