NIS America and Nippon Ichi Software have some exciting news for Phantom Brave fans. They’ve just dropped a demo for Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero on the Nintendo Switch’s eShop.
In this sneak peek, you can dive into the first two chapters of the story, and when you’re ready to continue, your progress will carry over straight into the full game once it’s officially out.
This game comes from the creative minds behind the popular Disgaea series. This time, it revolves around Marona, a talented young girl who can communicate with Phantoms, and her steadfast Phantom companion, Ash. Together, they journey across the watery world of Ivoire, helping those who need it.
When a band of ghost pirates wreak havoc, it’s up to Marona and her new ally, Apricot, to band together a crew that once defeated these eerie adversaries.
In Phantom Brave, you’ll recruit Phantoms and harness them by binding them to objects or merging them with Gadgets, or even with Marona herself, to unlock powerful abilities and obliterate the Shipwreck Fleet.
The publishers have highlighted some of the game’s standout features:
Play It Your Way: With over 50 different unit types to choose from, you can form a team of allies and take them into battle. Your strategies are only limited by your creativity.
Phantom Possession: Engage in tactical, turn-based RPG battles using the Confine system, which lets you combine Phantoms you’ve befriended with items to fight at your side!
Light-hearted Adventure: While Marona’s main quest is to save her friend Ash, she won’t miss out on fun adventures and new friendships along the journey.
Mark your calendars! Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero is set to launch both digitally and at retail on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on January 30, 2025.
