Nintendo Commits to Providing Daily Entertainment

Nintendo has rolled out a brand-new app for smart devices called Nintendo Today, designed with a user-friendly daily calendar vibe.

Every day, this app will serve up fresh content including the latest news, videos, and comics featuring your favorite Nintendo games and characters from select franchises.

Following the upcoming Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 presentation, which is set to air on Wednesday, April 2, you’ll be able to explore details about the next-gen portable home console right within the app.

Shigeru Miyamoto shared, “Since 2011, we’ve been bringing Nintendo news directly to you with Nintendo Direct. These presentations have grown into a highly-anticipated event watched by many. We truly appreciate your support.”

“We’ll continue with the Nintendo Direct presentations, but we’re also excited to introduce a new platform for delivering information directly. Meet Nintendo Today! This smart device app functions like a daily calendar,” Miyamoto elaborates. “With this app, you can catch all sorts of content on Nintendo games and characters every day.

“Post the Nintendo Direct for Nintendo Switch 2 on April 2nd, expect daily updates on the Nintendo Switch 2 to come ‘directly’ through the Nintendo Today! app,” Miyamoto added.

• Daily Updates: Get your dose of Nintendo news daily! Whether it’s about the Nintendo Switch 2, your favorite characters, or fun stuff like videos and comic strips, you’ll receive individualized entertainment.

• Animated Calendar: Stay on top of the dates with a super cool animated calendar! You can personalize it with themes inspired by Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, and more.

• Event Schedule: Whether you’re looking to plan for upcoming Nintendo Direct presentations, game releases, or in-game events, this feature’s got you covered. You can pick and choose events based on categories or the games you play.
