The iconic gaming franchise that got us all singing "Superman" by Goldfinger and inspired many to grab a skateboard is making a comeback with a fresh remaster. This time, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4 is hitting the shelves on July 11 for PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
Following the successful formula of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2, this new release revives beloved levels like Foundry, College, and Alcatraz, while also introducing some fresh environments. Not to be overlooked, the soundtracks are making a powerful return with some new tracks added to the mix. Plus, the game features both new faces among the skaters and old favorites, giving players a fresh yet familiar experience. The visual side of things has been significantly upgraded to support higher refresh rates and ultrawide monitors, although you can indulge in the nostalgia by switching back to classic graphics anytime.
Below, I’ve detailed all the editions of the game available for pre-order, where you can snag a copy, and the perks that come with each one. Especially for those with a PC or Xbox, it’s worth noting that Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can dive into the action right from launch day.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4 – Standard Edition
Priced at $49.99, the standard edition of THPS 3 and 4 doesn’t come with any extra frills. However, pre-ordering either a physical or digital copy before July 11 will score you early access to the Foundry demo. This demo includes two parks and lets you sample gameplay along with a special in-game cosmetic—a wireframe Tony shader for the Birdman himself.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4 – Digital Deluxe Edition
For $69.99, the Digital Deluxe Edition not only provides the Foundry demo and the wireframe Tony model but also throws in some exclusive Doom Eternal-inspired goodies. Expect to skate as the Revenant and Doom Slayer, with five themed skate decks and extra cosmetics for create-a-skater mode. This edition also includes the Unmakyr Hoverboard and new tracks from the Doom Eternal soundtrack, topped off with the bonus of accessing the game three days earlier.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4 – Collector’s Edition
The crème de la crème of the offerings is the $129.99 Collector’s Edition. Alongside everything included in the Digital Deluxe Edition plus early access, this premium package boasts a limited edition, full-size Birdhouse skateboard deck. Just a heads up—you’ll need your own trucks, wheels, and grip tape to get this board decked out for the perfect ride.
