Annapurna Interactive recently held an exciting showcase, giving gaming fans a sneak peek into their plans and those of their developers for the coming year. During the event, they made an exciting announcement: one of their celebrated PS4 titles is receiving a complimentary upgrade for the PS5, effective immediately.
## Sayonara Wild Hearts Gets a Free PS5 Upgrade Today
Sayonara Wild Hearts, developed by Simogo, has made its grand entrance onto the PS5. This newly updated version lands with enhanced 4K visuals, and for those lucky enough to have compatible displays, up to 120 frames per second. Plus, it makes elegant use of DualSense’s haptic feedback. As a cherry on top, a brand new game mode, the Remix Arcade, invites players to engage in endlessly replayable levels while they hunt for high scores.
If you already own Sayonara Wild Hearts on PS4, you’re in luck. You can snag this PS5 upgrade at no extra charge, provided both your PlayStation consoles are tied to the same account. For newcomers, the game is available on the PlayStation Store for $12.99.
The game presents itself intriguingly: “As the heart of a young woman breaks, the balance of the universe is disturbed,” says its official descriptor. “A diamond butterfly appears in her dreams and whisks her away to a celestial highway, where she meets her alternate persona: the masked biker known as The Fool.”
It’s an adventure accompanied by a uniquely crafted pop soundtrack, where players chase after scores and aim to restore cosmic harmony. This harmony lies hidden within the hearts of Little Death and her extraordinary allies: Dancing Devils, Howling Moons, Stereo Lovers, and Hermit 64.
But that’s not all Annapurna Interactive has in store. Alongside the PS5 upgrade for Sayonara Wild Hearts, they’ve outlined launch dates and windows for several other anticipated games. Mark your calendars for Lushfoil Photography Sim, which arrives on PS5 on April 15. This title offers the chance to capture photos in scenic locales such as South Tyrol, Italy, and Southwest Australia. Then, fans can look forward to To a T, the brainchild of Keita Takahashi, famous for Katamari Damacy, slated for release on May 28 for PS5. Wrapping up the announcements, we have Wheel World, a single-player bicycle racing game set to pedal onto PS5 this summer.
