This year, step into a unique adventure at SEA LIFE centres across the UK with Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Nintendo’s beloved life simulation game invites you to craft your very own paradise on a deserted island, alongside its charming inhabitants, offering an engaging and interactive experience.
For the very first time in the UK, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, a game that has captured the hearts of over 46 million players worldwide since its release in March 2020, is partnering with SEA LIFE UK. This new live event provides a perfect opportunity to explore amazing marine life while interacting with some of your favorite characters from the game.
Launching at SEA LIFE Manchester on the 8th of February, 2025, the tour is set to make its way across the UK, stopping at SEA LIFE Birmingham, SEA LIFE Brighton, SEA LIFE London, and ending at SEA LIFE Chessington World of Adventures Resort. It’s a treat that fans of both SEA LIFE and Animal Crossing: New Horizons simply cannot miss.
SEA LIFE UK, a part of Merlin Entertainments, the world’s second-largest leisure group and the largest aquarium network, is the ideal host for this enchanting experience. Each venue offers themed zones—ranging from the Atlantic and Arctic to the Rainforest and Tropics. Visitors can explore a vibrant world teeming with countless marine creatures.
Catherine Pritchard, the General Manager at SEA LIFE London Aquarium, couldn’t be more excited about this collaboration: “We’re delighted to bring this exclusive experience to our SEA LIFE locations. Visitors will embark on a journey with Animal Crossing: New Horizons characters, all within a backdrop of our incredible marine life, from Green Sea Turtles to Zebra Sharks. Armed with a tour guide, guests will traverse the ‘Sea Life Islands’, engage with island characters like Aurora and Octavian, and discover fascinating sea creatures. A fossil dig activity will uncover the ancient ancestors of today’s marine life, while explorers search for Gulliver on the island’s sandy shores.
Guests can collect character stamps, learn intriguing facts about SEA LIFE’s inhabitants, and meet Tom Nook and Isabelle. Before wrapping up their visit, fans have the chance to purchase exclusive Animal Crossing: New Horizons merchandise at the aquarium store.
