### Event period and locations
Mark your calendars for Friday, December 6th, because that’s when the action unfolds—from 18:00 to 20:00 CET (or 17:00 to 19:00 UK time). This event is open to players residing in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, and a slew of other European countries, all the way through the UK. However, due to geographical constraints, some regions like the Azores and Svalbard may be out of the loop, unfortunately.
### Participation
To join this showdown, you’ll need a Nintendo Account set to a participating country and an active Nintendo Switch Online membership — whether it’s paid or a free trial doesn’t matter. Just make sure you have access to the Game on your Nintendo Switch and jump into at least one event match. It’s all very straightforward: navigate to the main menu, tap “Online,” then select “Official Tourney Qualifiers.”
### Tourney Score
Now, this is where it gets competitive. The Tourney Score is what participants will be chasing. It’s a measure of your skill, calculated based on match results and your opponents’ scores. Keep in mind, you can play as many matches as you like to improve your score. As long as the match kicks off within the event window, it’s fair game, even if it wraps up afterward.
### Winners and prizes
Here’s the juicy part: prizes! The top 10 players with the highest scores will each scoop up 2,500 My Nintendo Gold Points. The rest of the top 100 score 1,000 Gold Points apiece. But there’s a catch—any country-setting changes to non-participating areas post-registration will see you disqualified. Cheaters and rule-breakers, beware; the Code of Conduct is firm, and the penalties aren’t just a slap on the wrist.
Prizes are locked in, meaning no swapping them for cash or alternatives.
### Delivery
Winners can expect their Gold Points to magically appear in their Nintendo Accounts about two weeks post-event. Just log into the My Nintendo Point Log to see your bounty.
