Alien: Rogue Incursion has hit the shelves today for PSVR 2 and PC VR headsets, while fans using the Quest will have to wait until February next year for their version of this Xenomorph-infused horror-shooter. Meanwhile, the developers at Survios aren’t taking a break, as they’ve already jumped into developing ‘Part Two.’
We dove deep into Part One for our comprehensive review, awarding it a solid 7 out of 10. The game impresses with its captivating atmosphere and engaging narrative, although its repetitive enemy encounters and a challenging save system did put a slight damper on the experience.
Even though Part One could stand proudly on its own, offering about eight hours of exhilarating action full of Xenomorph thrills and compelling story threads, fans will undoubtedly be craving more by the end. The anticipation for Part Two is already in the air.
Details remain under wraps about what exactly awaits us in Part Two, but Survios teases some exciting changes ahead. They promise an expansion of Zula’s journey with more formidable foes and tougher challenges, which certainly adds a fresh layer of intrigue to what’s coming next.
But before we get to experience Part Two, Quest users can mark their calendars for February 13th, 2025, when Part One will become available exclusively on Quest 3/3S. Bringing such rich, ever-evolving environments, high-quality textures, and physics-driven interactions to the Quest’s mobile hardware is no small feat, which explains the initial delay.
With the foundational systems of Part One already established, we’re optimistic for a quicker lead-up to Zula Hendricks’ next gripping battle—a showdown that may just be her ultimate clash with the spitting Xenomorph menaces infesting the rogue science station.
