Update from December 13th: After a productive period of testing with our Insiders, we’re excited to share that the Support Virtual Agent is now available to all players across the United States. Huge thanks to all the Insiders who helped test this feature and provided invaluable feedback.
The Support Virtual Agent, an AI-driven tool designed to help Xbox users tackle support-related issues swiftly and easily, is being rolled out to a select group of Xbox Insiders at support.xbox.com today. This smart feature draws on information from the website to address questions specifically related to Xbox console and game support. Starting now, Xbox Insiders in the U.S., with English set as their default language, can explore the Support Virtual Agent by logging into their account on support.xbox.com.
We greatly appreciate the feedback from our Xbox Insiders during this preview phase, and all responses will be used to enhance the Support Virtual Agent going forward. As you engage with this feature, you can rate responses with a thumbs up or thumbs down or provide detailed feedback by clicking the “Give feedback” button found at the bottom of the page.
How to Use Support Virtual Agent
From today, Xbox Insiders will spot the Support Virtual Agent on the "Contact us" page on support.xbox.com. Simply sign in using the account registered with the Xbox Insider Program, and you’ll notice a new option to pose questions to our Support Virtual Agent.
When you click on “Ask a question,” a new window will open, featuring the Support Virtual Agent. Feel free to inquire via text or voice, as it will respond with pertinent details pulled from support.xbox.com. Should the Virtual Agent be unable to solve your problem, live support is available during Xbox Support’s standard operating hours.
During this preview period, you can even tailor your support experience by clicking the ellipsis menu icon to select between two different Support Virtual Agents.

For Xbox Insiders on the hunt for support, hop on over to our Xbox Insider subreddit. You’ll find official Xbox team members, moderators, and fellow Xbox Insiders ready to help. We suggest contributing to existing threads where your issue is already in discussion before starting a new one, as this allows us to support you more efficiently. Additionally, you can send direct feedback to Team Xbox by navigating to “Report a problem online."
