The Delta Force open beta is taking off on Steam, drawing in nearly 120,000 players at its peak. This free-to-play first-person shooter is offering something fresh for those who love games like Battlefield and Tarkov. But with such a large player base, it’s inevitable that cheaters will sneak in. Recognizing this, the team at Team Jade has prioritized tackling hackers now that the game is live. Just in the past few days, they’ve banned over 1,000 offenders, with more undoubtedly on the way.
Before the game’s full release, Team Jade promised to ramp up their efforts against cheaters in Delta Force, and they’ve delivered on that promise. A recent report highlights that from December 7 to 12, an impressive 1,107 players were banned, many of whom have been publicly named and permanently barred from accessing the game in the future.
“As developers, ensuring a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for Delta Force players is crucial,” writes Team Jade. “We have a zero-tolerance stance on anyone who breaks our rules. This includes the use of plug-ins, unlawful software, inappropriate conduct, and malicious exploitation of bugs or glitches.”
Furthermore, Team Jade stresses, “Once we discover such behavior, we immediately investigate and take necessary measures. These actions include permanent account bans, IP bans, and notifications both within and outside the game.”
For those interested in learning more about Team Jade’s G.T.I Security system, the developer has detailed its detection and compensation methods for dealing with cheaters in Delta Force. If you lose a game or fail to extract due to cheaters, rest assured, your helmets, armor, backpacks, weapons, and ammo will be returned to you. This is just the initial phase of their compensation system, and Team Jade aims to listen to player feedback to refine it further.
