Almost a year has passed since Asgard’s Wrath 2 first hit the scene, and now it’s wrapping up with its last Cosmic Event, which delves into Loki’s lingering influence.
Since its release last December, the team at Sanzaru Games has been keeping the excitement alive with Cosmic Events, a series of limited-time challenges known as Cosmic Objectives. Players have been kept on their toes, battling a vampiric plague, navigating the multiverse, and fighting off Surtur’s army among other things. Now, in this final chapter titled ‘The Trickster’s Legacy,’ you’ll once more clash with Loki.
Your mission is to mend these warped worlds by tackling new challenges. You’ll venture through ‘?’ doors in the Uncharted Rifts, navigate obstacle-filled rooms, conquer five divine trials in one go within the Rifts, and clear Loki Anomalies scattered across the game. Achieving these feats earns you an array of rewards including the Staff of the Trickster, replicas of the Ma’at Stones, Loki’s iconic horned helmet, emotes, badges, and titles.
While this is the last fresh event, it doesn’t mean the end of Cosmic Events altogether. Sanzaru Games has announced a rerun of the previous events under the banner Into the Multiverse, giving players another shot at snagging the exclusive rewards they might have missed.
In other updates, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is introducing a new outfit that won’t disappear after a short time like the rewards from The Trickster’s Legacy. Available exclusively to Meta Quest+ subscribers, this addition features a striking dinosaur-themed armor from the island of Laramidia, complete with a stone blade weapon to match.
If you haven’t jumped in yet, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is ready and waiting on the Meta Quest platform.
