As November wraps up, PlayStation Plus is set to introduce an exciting new batch of games for subscribers. For December 2024, they’ve curated a stellar lineup featuring three standout titles, including an acclaimed Game of the Year from The Game Awards 2021. Plus, for those with a Premium subscription, a couple of beloved PS2 classics are being added to the Classics Catalog.
Exciting News: December 2024 PS Plus Lineup
The December 2024 selection for PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium subscribers includes the critically acclaimed It Takes Two, the intense Aliens: Dark Descent, and the charming Temtem. These titles can be snagged starting December 3, 2024, and will remain available until January 6, 2024.
Both It Takes Two and Aliens: Dark Descent are accessible on PS4 and PS5, while Temtem is exclusive to the PS5, giving players on the latest console a little something extra to enjoy.
As these new titles enter the scene, it’s also time to bid farewell to the November 2024 lineup. Players eager to claim Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged, Ghostwire: Tokyo, or Death Note Killer Within without extra cost have until December 2 to do so.
December also brings a bit of extra cheer to PS Plus Premium subscribers. Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2 is getting a game trial starting December 3. While details on the trial length haven’t been shared, typically they range from one to three hours, so plan accordingly.
The Classics Catalog is expanding with the addition of a couple of fan-favorite PS2 mascots. Both Sly 2: Band of Thieves and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves are making their debut, completing the beloved trilogy on the service. Furthermore, Naughty Dog’s classic Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy joins the collection. Gamers can begin their adventures with Sly or Jak starting December 10, 2024.
